Meet Danielle, Strategic Projects & Business Development Manager
Danielle has led major initiatives, including the £52 million care village project comprising a 72-bed care home, short breaks unit, 88 independent living apartments, and community amenities. She played a pivotal role in delivering Marigold House, the flagship care home for Care is Central, and has expertise in the commissioning and decommissioning of care homes – ensuring smooth transitions that prioritise resident wellbeing and operational continuity.
In addition to her project leadership, Danielle heads communications and marketing for Care is Central, championing its vision and values across the community and supporting stakeholder engagement.
Danielle’s career began on the front line as a carer, giving her a deep understanding of the sector from the ground up. She is passionate about finding innovative ways to improve wellbeing and promote choice for individuals in care.
Most recently, Danielle has been undertaking an apprenticeship in operational and departmental management, which she is due to complete in February 2026 – further strengthening her leadership and strategic capabilities.
