Care is Central’s COO Harpreet Chohan attended a visit to Marigold House in Leighton Buzzard last week to see the build progression with representatives from Farrans and Central Bedfordshire Council.   The £13 million, 63 place care home, is the first care home to be built by Central Bedfordshire Council in 50 years and is situated where the old police station used to be.  Care is Central will be taking ownership of the home in Spring 2023.

Mindful of our commitment to sustainability, the care home is being built to the rigorous Passivhaus standard, a gold standard in energy efficiency, that will result in a ultra-low energy building with outstanding eco credentials providing for an extremely energy efficient, comfortable home for the benefit of local people.

The building work is progressing well and the luxury care home is set to open to the public in Spring 2023.  For more information on the new home please contact 01234 385640 or email info@careiscentral.org.uk
