Meet Kelly, Team Leader at All Saints View
Kelly has been in care for over 20 years. She started as a care assistant and has had various roles including senior carer, team leader, duty manager and activities co-ordinator. She has completed her NVQ Level 3 and 5 in health and social care. Find out more below.
What made you want a career in the care sector?
I started working in care as it fitted around my family life but I soon fell in love with the job. I enjoyed making a difference in people’s lives
What do you think is the biggest challenge of working in care?
Every day is a challenge and no day is the same, but with every challenge comes learning and job satisfaction
What do you enjoy the most about your job in care?
Knowing I have made a difference to someone’s life
What attracted you to work for Care is Central?
Care is central offered me a different role in the independent living sector which is a new career path for me
What are you looking forward to most in your role?
I am looking forward to the progress of All Saints View and the new challenges it will bring
