Meet Tina, our Team Leader at Greenfields
Tina has worked in care for seven years and has a wealth of experience in supporting residents and care teams.
She says:
“I started in care in community then moved on to care home settings. I worked hard and was promoted to a senior care position in 80 bed care home and then 70 bed care home.
I then moved to Greenfields Leighton Buzzard Independent living scheme as a senior and progressed to Team Leader where I ran the scheme liaising with families/social worker.
I went around to different areas of the business for Westminster supporting with Audits to ensure we were compliant within the business. Now I manage both Greenfields and St George’s Court Independent Living Schemes, ensuring my teams are supported and my residents receive the highest standard of care
The most challenging part of my job within care is finding the right staff and keeping staffing levels steady, its a hard industry to work in but very rewarding at the same time and creating the right supportive environment is very important.
What I enjoy about my job is the daily satisfaction of looking after my clients using a person centred approach that ensures they are happy and treated with dignity and respect. There’s no better feeling than the one you get from a client being happy with the service you and your team provide.”
