Meet Danny, Team Leader of Priory View
Danny has worked at CIC now for Ten Months. He originally held the position of Carer and enjoyed seeing our clients smile. Danny then moved to the role of Senior Care Assistant. He did enjoy this role providing structure to the team and assisting the team leader. He is now the Team Leader at Priory View and is really enjoying his role with with CIC. Find out more below.
What made you want a career in the care sector?
I wanted to slow down as I have a physical demanding second job in the army, and I have always worked in security services, so I thought to do something completely different and give myself a new challenge. The care sector is so rewarding and it was a great decision to make.
What do you think is the biggest challenge of working in care?
Biggest Challenge I have found so far is learning all the systems and getting into the swing of things in care, I have adjusted well and am now looking at a new challenge.
What do you enjoy the most about your job in care?
I really enjoy seeing all the clients smile and having fun, getting to know them on a personal level and hearing their stories from when they were younger. I enjoy hearing how well my team are doing and receiving feedback on ways to improve.
