General Manager For Care Home – now filled (This position has been filled)

We are looking for a special General Manager to join the team at Care is Central. Marigold House in Leighton Buzzard, Central Bedfordshire, will be our first of many luxury care homes, and our first Care Home  General Manager will help create the ethos and culture as well as the policies and processes that our future residential care offering will follow.

If you are an ambitious, experienced and capable General Manager who has always wished they could create rather than follow the rules then Care is Central could be for you.

You will need to be an inspiring leader who understands although the needs of residents always come first, we also need to care for and value our teams. Without a well-motivated, highly trained group of care staff the residents will not receive the care and attention that they deserve.

You will have complete autonomy for the commissioning and running of a 63 bedded luxury care home in the heart of Leighton Buzzard. Due to open early next year, we are looking for you to start with plenty of time to set up our new residential care offering and hit the ground running when the doors open.

As well as being a proven leader, with experience managing large teams of people and good commercial acumen, the ability to calmly and confidently deal with stress in others. You will need to be a proven history of delivering excellent results; previous commissioning experience would be a real advantage.
