General Manager – Marigold House in Leighton Buzzard (This position has been filled)

Location: Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire (Hockliffe Road, LU7 3FF)

Hours: Monday-Friday

Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per year

Overview of the role: 

We are looking for a special General Manager to join the team at Marigold House, a brand-new Care Home in Leighton Buzzard, Central Bedfordshire. This will be Care is Central’s first of many luxury care homes, and our first General Manager will help create the ethos and culture as well as the policies and processes that our future residential care offering will follow.

You will need to be an inspiring leader who understands although the needs of residents always come first, we also need to care for and value our teams. Without a well-motivated, highly trained group of care staff the residents will not receive the care and attention that they deserve.

You will have complete autonomy for the commissioning and running of a 63 bedded luxury care home in the heart of Leighton Buzzard. Due to open early next year, we are looking for you to start with plenty of time to set up our new residential care offering and hit the ground running when the doors open. As well as being a proven leader, with experience managing large teams of people and good commercial acumen, the ability to deal with stress calmly and confidently in others. You will need to be a proven history of delivering excellent results; previous commissioning experience would be a real advantage.
